New Nail Polish! and other beauty products.

When I was home I had the pleasure of going to Ulta for the first time and let me tell you...I didn't want to leave. That store is pretty amazing. I picked up this Essie nail polish in the shade 'Shine of the Times' and I love it!

I only painted my ring finger with the Essie polish but I think I will do all my fingers next time! The other fingers are a Revlon nude polish.

I also received some products from my aunt, reviews are on the way!

Madewell Fall 2012 Lookbook

It's so rare to find a brand who's entire collection is so fabulous you would want to own each and every piece. Madewell is one of those brands for me.  To me it's a colorful update of classic pieces a la J. Crew and Gap.
[Love the leather dress and leopard flats]

[A floppy hat is a staple any time of year]
[I've been searching for suede booties like these for ages]
[I'm a huge sucker for anything leopard print]
[LOVE the first one]

Which outfits and pieces are your favorite?

I recently purchased my first pair of shoes from Madewell, these brown leather lace-up boots.

I styled them with chunky grey socks, a plaid button up shirt, a parka, black jeans, and a cream colored crocheted scarf I made myself!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish Review

I've been using this nail polish for a little while and I recently got this new color (called Easy Going) and thought I would write a review to share my two cents with the world. First of all this color is beautiful, the perfect spring-time baby pink. I've gotten lots of compliments every time I wear this polish. I purchased this nail polish at Target (I'm not sure where else it is available) and it was only...wait for it...two dollars. Yes, two dollars. In my experience with this polish it has lasted me at least five days with only minimal chipping after one week. My only complaint would be that this polish formula tends to be a bit thinner in consistency when compared to other polishes (O.P.I. and Essie for example) so it needs to be applied with a steady hand. I topped it with Sally Hansen Double Duty Top Coat.

[Color: Easy Going]

I also purchased this Maybelline mascara. I've been wanting to try The Falsies collection for a long time now after hearing about it on numerous youtube beauty bloggers' channels. I will try it tomorrow morning and post tomorrow night about it!

First Post!/Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC Review

First post! I've been wanting to start a blog forever now but always been intimidated by all of the other fabulous bloggers out there. Seeing as it's spring time and I'll have more free time to share my outings I thought I would finally get on this blogging wagon!

In other news I invested in a Rebecca Minkoff purse recently and thought I would do a lil review on it since it came in the mail today!

I've been eying this bag for a long time now (formally known as the Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC) and I may or may not have lost my breath a little when I finally saw the box on my doorstep. Upon opening the box (and taking off all of the protective plastic which took like 10 minutes) a very strange sensation came over me...could it be? Could I have just fallen in love with an inanimate object? YUP. This bag is worth every penny. I have yet to actually use it so I can't report much on usability (yet) but just looking at the craftsmanship you can plainly see the high quality of this handbag. It is very conceivable that this could be the start of a long love with me and Rebecca <3
